NW200
NW200 & Donegal, Lochs and Lakes Tours our first two tours of the year
Just back from our Lochs and Lakes Tour which was a nice return to the touring season after a long winter break. Always one of my favourites, we saw the Borders, Lakes and Dales at their very best as we enjoyed dry roads, blue skies and crystal clear visibility. Our group was sadly depleted owing to illness, hopefully all will return to full health and be able to join us later in the year. Was good to catch up with 'the bruvers' who were customers on our very first continental tour in 2004, but return whenever work commitments allow. Was also good to meet some new faces and see them enjoy the great scenery and roads that the area has to offer.
Despite terrible weather on the saturday of the NW200 races leading to its cancellation, we received many complimentary comments from all those on the NW200 & Donegal Tour as Roy and Alison worked their magic giving everyone a great time. Although we obviously look forward to the thrill of the racing, we also enjoy some great ride-outs along the Antrim coast and into Donegal. This year the weather in Donegal was particularly kind allowing everyone to enjoy this beautiful part of the world. We will be repeating this tour in 2014, so even if you are not a race fan there is still plenty to enjoy on this tour.
